This is my fav Chinese go to spot. They are on point with everything. Love their Singapore phomay ? Shrimp Lomein, which I always get with jumbo shrimps extra. Sesame chicken. Great service and great ambience, mostly a pick up spot. But you can definitely sit in and eat.
One of the best Chinese food I've ever had. Their garlic sauce is amazing. The chicken soup, very good. I recommend totally. Bravo
This is my go-to spot for takeout Chinese in the capital region: no-frills, classic American Chinese food that's always consistently good. The restaurant area itself on the inside is small and exactly what you'd expect from a takeout Chinese spot, you're not there for table service, just to order your grub and bring it home. All of the usual suspects are on the menu - various different noodle, rice, veggie, combo dishes and so on. No surprises here. The hot and sour soup is probably some of the best I've had from any Chinese place, it's excellent. The menu is pretty big and lately I've been trying out some new things instead of the usual General Tso's or lo mein I normally get (which are both really good here!). The pork ho fun and bourbon chicken are real standouts from recent orders I've gone with.
Consistently delicious favorites include: General tso's, Singapore mei fun, & lo mein. I spent a long time searching for a place with good American-Chinese food that was consistent in flavor. This is that place.
My husband and I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the area for some time. We ordered J's Kitchen via Grubhub and were very delighted with our food. I had the general tsos which was very tasty (I really enjoyed picking my spice level) and the accompanied fried rice was also very good. My husband really enjoyed his sesame chicken. I also tried the wonton soup and it is probably my favorite I've tried - it had very large wontons stuffed with filling and the broth was very flavorful. Definitely recommend!
Best Chinese in Capital District! Sometimes we try other places but J's Kitchen is the best. Ordered takeout again. This time it was for three lunch specials. The quality of the food was outstanding in terms of quality of ingredients, preparation, and of course taste. The containers were packed to capacity leaving enough for two servings. Compliments on the following: The Fried Rice is flavorful not greasy. Tastes freshly prepared. The Sesame Chicken is delicious. Crunchy not over cooked vegetables. The roasted pork was tender. The Won Ton Soup was flavorful. The Hot and Sour Soup was prepared as it should be but too hot and spicy for me. Great service as always--efficient and pleasant! I arrived 15 min early for pickup time given due to appointment ending sooner than expected and told the owner/cook. He pleasantly told me that he was working on the order and would bring it out to my car. In ten minutes, the heavy bag of order was kindly placed in my car.
